The Sky's the Limit... Or is it? Steve Wittman Remembered

Vero Beach, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/29/2008 -- LoPresti SpeedMerchants of Vero Beach will be hosting their monthly First Saturday Event on February 2, Saturday. Their traditional format will change a bit to include a preview of "Steve Wittman Remembered".

On the occasion of Steve Whitman's 90th birthday, a Disney film crew spent three days interviewing Steve and his wife Paula about their personal life and Steve's long aviation career. There is even video of Steve flying his aerobatic air show ... at 90 years young. This video was privately commissioned and has never been seen before in public.

Steve and Paula were a delightful couple. They were the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers of aviation. In their honor this event will also be a "Sweetheart Fly in", celebrating couples that fly together.

LeRoy's Café will host renowned Chef Karen Siegel, helping with the LoPresti Sweetheart Flyin Breakfast - gourmet style. The event will start with a charity breakfast for Build A Plane, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting aviation and aerospace careers by giving young people the opportunity to build real airplanes. http://www.buildaplane.org.
